AK is more reliable and more simple, VZ-58 is more accurate, and lighter. The VZ has bolt hold open, but the mags are aluminum and easy to brake/dent. It fits the Czech front sight better than the AK tool that I have. In a pinch the windage can be adjusted with a C-clamp, a piece of wood with a hole in it and a small brass nut or whatever.
